Zero Impact Guitars and RIP Car Club Project

Once again, Zero Impact Guitars is leading the Elite Guitar Category with another first for our company. We are building a custom guitar to tour with a show car in the National Low Rider Competition Tour starting later this year.

The car is a 1962 Cadillac being finished in a CTX Orange with custom graphics and pinstripe. All accessories are custom engraved and chromed by the club and will most likely be featured in the Dec 2010 or the Jan 2011 editions of Low Rider Magazine.

The guitar will be a ZIG Mk-1 built to the 1962 Stratocaster Specifications to match the construction and tone of the 62 Strats. The finish will match the CTX Orange of the Car and custom graphics and pinstripe will complete the project.

The theme of the car and axe will be “No-Envy” The name is still in development but the concept is locked in.

As the project moves along, we will post frequent progress reports along with photos of both the car and the guitar.

The debut will be at the Las Vegas Custom Car Show in August 2010 and is expected to be on tour for the following 8 to 10 months making stops in LA, Dallas, Memphis, Chicago, Atlantic City and Miami. More shows are being added every week so keep an eye on our site, for details.

This is one of the projects that we at Zero Impact Guitars love to be involved in. It allows us to work outside of the box when it comes to custom guitars. These special projects allow us to connect with an art that so easily co-exist. Custom Cars and Guitars. Does it get any better?
